Woe is me. I couldn't even get out of bed this morning, well not without a lot of difficulty. See Thursday is the craziest day of the week!! The only this that has gotten me through the work day in the past is the knowledge that I would see The Office once I survived it. But that is over. :( It sounds like the writer's have been given another offer package to include new media so hopefully the strike will be over soon.
But today just wasn't the same. So instead of watching the season 3 re-run that was on Asa and I got creative. We put on our coats and tied one of my helium birthday balloons to our RC Mini Cooper. We went outside with Barkley and got him to chase the get-up up and down the driveway. It was pretty funny but not "The Office".
Asa and I will be seeing "Spamalot" again this weekend so that is great, that show is hi-lar-i-ous!!! Then I will also be auditioning for "Grease" in Tiffin. Wish me luck!! I need it! I have had horrible luck with auditions since "Seussical" last year!
I'm so glad that tomorrow is finally Friday!!!
Here I am once again! So exciting, I know.
What's new??
I'm 30...there I said it.....ouch!!! Fortunately it wasn't too painful thanks to my family. After work I went to Olive Garden in Lima to meet my family for dinner. Well basically all the women in our extended family showed up! Mom, my sisters, grandma, aunts and a cousin who came all the way from Xavier!!! It was a great surprise. Asa showed up with a dozen or so beautiful multi-colored roses. It was a great dinner, the waiters sang to me and I got great gifts!! Tons of The Office stuff and Asa even got me a GPS named, Mandy's brain. It's great. Then as an extra surprise all the women and I went to a massage parlor. It was open just for us! We had a nice room for hanging out in as we went to different stations. There were fun decorations for my birthday, cake and treats. We each got a paraffin hand dip, a hand massage, face massage, back massage and foot massage. It was heaven!!! Check out the pictures on our Flickr page.
Thanksgiving was great I got a lot done, even my Christmas shopping is basically done and my decorations up. After all of that I still had time for a nap or two. Sooo sweet! Asa and I even saw two movies, Dan in Real Life for me and American Gangster for him. I thought both movies were really good!
Well now that it's cold outside I'm finally getting some of the Mexico footage edited. So here is one clip of our resort. I found out recently that Forbes named it one of the most romantic resorts in the world. I believe that's true!
This is kinda thrown together but it brings back happy memories!
Finally, my only real complaint right now is that life is very hard without new episodes of The Office to look forward to. Seriously I don't know how to cope. Finally Jim and Pam are together and happy and this is what happens!?!?! Hopefully the strike negotiations are going well, but I doubt it!
Take care!
